History of Church of God Chapel Frank Sound
The Church of God Chapel Frank Sound has a rich history rooted in community service and spiritual leadership in North Side, Cayman Islands. The church's origins trace back to the 1950s, when Rev. and Mrs. Arthur Kluge began holding worship services in private homes in Old Man Bay. The congregation grew, and land for the first church building was generously provided by Sis Margaret Adina “Maggie” Bodden

A significant milestone occurred when Captain Eldon Kirkconnel donated funds to purchase approximately 18 acres for a new church site in Frank Sound. Under Pastor Neville Daley’s leadership, a new church building was constructed on this property, marking a new era for the congregation
In August 1999, Pastor William and Ellen Peguero assumed leadership, guiding the church for 16 years with dedication and stability. In January 2015, Pastors Shawn and Tonya Knight became Senior Pastors, continuing the church’s mission and community impact.
Over the past 70-plus years, the Church of God Chapel Frank Sound has faithfully impacted the community and has developed successful community programming that has produced leaders in all industries island-wide. From humble beginnings to a beacon of life and hope. We truly stand on the shoulders of others, which makes this a multi-generational, multi-ethnic work vitally valuable to the community.
